“No, I’m not being mean. It’s just my time of the month.”
You’ll never hear a guy say that. If you do, something might be wrong with the functions of his body and he might need medical care immediately. While the side-effects of PMS are usually quite unpleasant for most females, they can definitely use them as an excuse. No man is going to fight against a woman claiming pre-menstral syndrome. If he does, he’s really got some guts. If the girl really does have PMS, he is going to get a VERY nice talking to.
Girls, if you are in a terrible mood, how many times have you heard a guy say, “she’s probably PMSing”? I’ve heard it a lot. Guys usually think that if you are having an off day, it can be blamed on your monthly visitor. While that can be annoying if your bad mood are ALWAYS blamed on PMS and NEVER blamed on something the guy may have done, it can also be a blessing.
If you just wanna be grumpy for a day, but don’t have any particular reason for it, girls can pull this one off. “I’m just in a bad mood” doesn’t cut it for most people as an excuse. “I’m just PMSy” does. Always.
And, another great thing that you can blame on PMS…food intake. “I’m CRAVING chocolate. It’s my time of the month…it makes me feel better.” Isn’t that a blessing in an odd form?
