I know practically nothing about football. This afternoon, I was watching the purdue/notre dame football game with some friends on t.v. Randomly, I'd lean over to my boyfriend and ask him a question about what was happening on the screen. He'd explain it to me and leave it at that.
My mom went to a party with a few of her friends. One of her friends complained to a few guys they were with that she had no idea how to do the electric slide. The guy got up and showed her immediately how to do the dance so that she could enjoy herself. My mom told me that this same woman had been doing the electric slide gracefully the week before.
A common one is from Mean Girls. Cady (Lindsey Lohan) wanted to get the attention of hot guy, Aaron Samuels. What did she do? "Uh, I don't get this...can you help me?"
Being ditzy helps girls out. Need some attention? Ask a question. Pretend you don't know. Or, in the case of my football inexperience, ACTUALLY don't know. Girls can get away with that. They can ask the DUMBEST questions and no one really thinks much of it. She may get some rolling eyes, but that's about it. A female can be completely uninformed on a situation and nothing bad will happen. It's life.
